My image generation failed

Last updated · May 20, 2026

Image generation can fail for several reasons. Here's how to troubleshoot.

Common causes & fixes

1. Your prompt was rejected

ReelMe has content guidelines that block certain types of generations (violence, explicit content, celebrities and copyrighted characters, etc.). If your prompt triggered the filter, you'll see a prompt-rejected message.

✅ Rephrase your prompt.

2. Connection issue

Generation requires a stable internet connection. A weak Wi-Fi or mobile signal can interrupt the process.

✅ Switch to a stronger network and try again.

3. Input photo quality

AI-generated outputs depend heavily on the input photo — quality, lighting, and angles all matter.

✅ Use a clear, well-lit photo with the subject facing the camera. Avoid blurry, dark, or heavily-filtered images.

4. App version is outdated

An old app version may have bugs that affect generation.

✅ Update ReelMe on the App Store or Google Play.

5. Server load

During peak hours, our servers may be temporarily slower than usual.

✅ Wait a few minutes and retry.

6. Out of credits

If your credits run out mid-generation, the request will fail.

✅ Check your credit balance, or upgrade your subscription plan. See what are credits and how do they work?.

Still failing?

Email support@reelme.art with:

  • Your account email
  • The prompt or template you used
  • Time of the failed attempt
  • A screenshot of the error (if possible)

If credits were deducted on a failed attempt, see credits were deducted but no image was generated.
